Fishery Rules

Times

The fishery opens at 7.30am and the gates are locked at 5.00pm

Children

All children under the age of 12 years must have a responsible adult with them at all times.

Rules

No other baits allowed.

No overshotted rigs.

4 inch hook length minimum.

4 inch lash length minimum.

No pole tapping.

Method feeders are allowed.(in line method feeders & only guru xsafe elasticated system.)

You can only use woodlands feed pellet in the feeders.

All keep nets must be laid out to dry prior to fishing & only put into the water 10 minutes before start of the match.

Maximum keep net limit is 50lbs.(amended 1.8.2021).match bait limit 8 pints.

Please do not throw any unused bait into the pools.

Maximum pole length 16.5m

Please take home all your rubbish.

Regular hook & bait checks are carried out.

Any one who chooses to break the rules will be asked to leave the fishery immediately.

If you are unsure of any rule please speak with a member of our staff.

When fishing with the pole you must have a float attached.

STINK BAGS
WE DO NOT ALLOW ANY STINK BAGS ONTO THE BANKS.
ALL BAGS MUST BE LEFT IN YOUR VEHICLES.
ALL KEEP NETS MUST BE DRY PRIOR TO COMING ONTO THE FISHERY.
ALL KEEP NETS MUST BE LAID OUT TO ENSURE DRY FOR A MINIMUM 10 MINUTES BEFORE START OF MATCH.

Any one found to be fishing and/or have any other bait’s on their peg will be told to leave the fishery immediately.

• Barbless hooks only

• Largest hook size 12

• Minimum 4inch hook length.
